The Fujifilm GFX100 II is a 102MP medium format camera that features two memory card slots. One slot supports CFexpress Type B memory cards and the second slot supports SD/SDHC/SDXC (UHS-II / UHS-I) cards, an external SSD drive is also supported.
For the CFexpress Type B cards capacities up to 2TB are supported. SD cards support capacities of between 1-2GB, SDHC cards support 4-32GB and SDXC cards support 64GB-2TB.

How many minutes of video can be recorded on a 64GB card?
When recording in 4k 2160 you can record approximately 79 minutes of video. Shots over one hour in length will be split across multiple files without interruption, the same applies to shots recorded to 32GB (SDHC/SD) and smaller cards.
Is a V90 rated UHS-II SDXC card required for video?
If you want to shoot in 8k/4k 4:2:2 10-bit 720 Mbps and record to an SD card then yes a V90 rated SDXC card would be required. For bitrates of 480 Mbps and lower a V60 rated card will work.
Is a VPG400 rated CFexpress card required for video?
No. The VPG400 certification simply guarantees a minimum sustained write performance of 400 MB/s. This is a paid certification and not all manufacturers choose to pay and instead list their sustained write speeds which for CFexpress Type B cards are normally well above the minimum 90 MB/s for recording internally at 8k/4k 4:2:2 10-bit 720 Mbps.
Are CFexpress Type B 4.0 cards compatible with the GFX100 II?
Yes, the GFX100 II is compatible with CFexpress 4.0 cards because the 4.0 standard is backward compatible with 2.0. Unfortunately in-camera there is no speed benefit to using a 4.0 card over a 2.0 card because the GFX100 II memory bus does not support the faster 4.0 speeds. Where you will see a benefit is when copying files from your memory card to your computer, with a 4.0 card this can be up to twice as fast compared to a 2.0 card when using a CFexpress 4.0 Type B compatible reader.
What is the difference between CFexpress Type B 2.0 and 4.0?
The main difference is speed. CFexpress Type B 4.0 cards utilize the PCIe Gen 4 bus which delivers twice the bandwidth (up to 4 GB/s) compared to CFexpress 2.0 Type B cards that utilize the PCIe Gen 3 bus (up to 2 GB/s).
CFexpress Type B 4.0 cards are backward compatible with CFexpress 2.0 devices, meaning a 4.0 card will work in a 2.0 camera or reader, but the performance will be limited to CFexpress 2.0 speeds. Similarly, a CFexpress 2.0 card will perform at its peak in a CFexpress 4.0 device.
